St. Jude Radiothon Raises over $67,000

Maverick Media Station WFGF Froggy 93, UltraSound Special Events Inc. and various other contributors provided two days of fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event was held at the Lima Mall and the generous support of businesses and individuals in the community allowed for a record $67,000 to be raised throughout the event. For its part, UltraSound Special Events provided a number of inflatable games throughout the mall and the new Pit Stop Simulator. Families were permitted to participate on all attractions through making a contribution to St. Jude. St. Jude provides research to eliminate childhood cancer and provides care to kids diagnosed at the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. In its second year, the radiothon was held March 31 and April 1, 2005.
